My last update to you was about our friend “gray hair Scotty” who has been without any form of ID for nearly 10 years.

 

Kim has been working with local, state, and federal agencies in order to help Scotty get some form of ID to help him on his journey.  Without ID he cannot work, get any sort of benefits or aid, and is unable to get anything but emergency medical care.

 

The last I communicated to you was the conversation in which my wife said “hopefully… he’s been in prison here”.  This was in hopes of getting some kind of ID from the Arizona Department of Corrections so she could move forward in the process.

 

Well… he wasn’t in prison in Arizona.  Dang. (more…)
