Well… they were married 17 years ago  but we celebrated the renewing of Shane and Kim’s vows last Saturday! Shane and Kim live on the streets of Phoenix and with the help of friends and family they were able to share this day with many of their friends from Sunnyslope!
 

When I was approached 3 weeks ago by Shane I thought it was an absolutely wonderful idea.  What I was especially grateful for is they have come to call Prodigal’s Home their community of faith… and this community was where they wanted to celebrate their special day. 

Our very own Doug Brendel officiated the ceremony (complete with full vestments).

God’s outrageous grace has been shown through all of you who help to keep this church moving forward.

 

I know Kim and Shane are grateful they have a place to celebrate days like this while they struggle to get off the streets .
